He smiled, and bowed his head, "thank you dearly" he said proudly as he entered the room, putting his bag on the bed, he looked round, and she was right, it was small, but 'cosey'. to be totally honest, it would be nice to have a room to himself.
He turned back to ren, and smiled again, "Where is your room? so i know where to go if i need you."

"Two doors down" Ren told Austin, nodding towards her room. "Me and Akane share that room" she told him. She personally didn't mind if he came down to ask a question or two, but Akane? She might not. She walked over to her room, thought her back in, not caring where it landed.
Walked back towards Austin. "So now do you want to see that creek?" she asked.

Austin loaded the new info into his head, remembering 'two doors down'. he chuckled and nodded, "Ok, but would we need swimwear?" He asked. he really needed o wash, and he loved swimming too. he remembered when he was younger, swimming racing with his dad. but he hadnt swam in ages.
He shook his head a little, to zone back into the room, "uhh.....sorry about that...."

Ren laughed a bit. "No problem," she said. She thought on his question a bit before awnsering. Did they really need swimwear. Well, not usually. The creek was used just for fun. To mess around and toss water at the other person. Stuff like that. Not really swimming. Just playing.
"I guess you could," she said, shrugging her shoulders. "I'm not though," she said. She never had, and it didn't make any sense to just start it now. And...she didn't believe she had any swimwear that still fitted her. It wasn't like she needed one when she was traveling and she hadn't been home since two years ago so she wasn't sure if they'd still fit her. She had grown, anyways.

The boy nodded, making his way back to his room. "I'll meet you at the creek, or downstairs?" he asked, a little confused to where they would eventually meet up. He started digging though his bag, finding a pair on knee length shorts. swimming shorts.
He silently took of his top, and started to fold it up. unusually, he had forgotten the most important thing....the door. luckily though, he wasnt buff nude, just in his trousers, but with his top gone, his +anima mark was in plain sight. it ran from his shoulder down to his wrist, and resembled a claw, along with some sort of oval with lines across and through it. It almost looked like a sheild. a shield? why a shield. but it kind of made sence. scorpion, thick skin, plates even. it was showing how his arm would grow plates of scorpion armour! it made sense!

Ren nodded and began to walk down stairs. Down there, she took off her jacket -which was ment for weather, just slightly colder than Sailand- and shoes. Both of which, she couldn't possible ruin getting wet. On the other hand, her traveling clothes, her dress, was washable. She stood just outside the door to the house, looking over at the creek. She remembered the times when it was just her and her sister, exploring the creek and it's wonders.
She looked back over at the stairs, becoming a little inpatient. How long did it take to change, really? She yawn and leaned against the walls of the house, her arms crossed.

The boy came down the stairs, then out the door, in the same shorts he found in his bag. he looked left and rough for ren, and smiled seeing her. "ok, lets go" he stated in a cheery tone. It was a little weird how he would gladly stand there, and walk through a house, topless, showing his mark. surely if anyone saw it, people would fear him, right?

"'Kay, come on," Ren said, signaling Austin with her hand as she walked off, shoeless. She kept her eyes on the ground, making sure not to step on any sticks or twigs as she made her way to the creek. Finnally, past the obstacles of the twigs, she reached the creek. She climbed down the rocks, getting down to the water. She stood there, standing in the water, which was up to her shins.
"Come on down!" she called. "The water's great!"

Without hesitation, the boy took a running start at the water, and took a huge leap, diving dowin into the water. He came back to the surface, and shook his head, chuckling. "You wasnt kidding ren!" He smiled, and looked over to her, and raised his eyebrows, noting how he had splashed her. "Um.....sorry bout that...."

Ren laughed a little. "Austin, it's a creek. You know, with water? Of course I'm going to get wet," she said, still laughing a bit. She leaned down and splashed Austin with some water, like a giant wave. This was fun. Why'd she ever leave home, anyways? Oh, right. Slaves.
Hearing the clatter of hooves on the dirt ground, not too far away, Ren froze. Dammit. Not them again! They were still doing these check ups!? She tackled Austin into the water where it was rather muddy. She was basically sitting ontop of him, her knee on his chest and his arms pinned down with her hands. Anyone passing, it'd look like she was just looking for something in the water. A second later, two men on horses came by. They stopped right infront of her.
"What are you doing down there, Ren?" one asked. They knew her pretty well. She had gotten into some trouble back when she lived here with her parents.
"Just lost an ear ring in the water. I'm looking for it right now," she said to the two men. They shrugged and walked off to the house. Once out of sight, she got off Austin, helping him up.
"Sorry about that," she whispered. "Sailand guards," she said, trying to explain quickly and softly as best she could. She looked around and then towards her house. “We need to get you out of here,” she said, grabbing his hand and pulling him along, down the creek until she walked off the creek and up a hill towards a small club house she and her sister had sometime ago. It still looked like it was in good shape. She peaked in. It looked like Akane had been using it, and cleaning it quiet often. She pulled Austin in and sat down in one of the small chairs.
“I’m sorry about this,” she said, covering her face with her hand.

After all the quick, speedy events that had happened, austin was a bit dazed. He shook his head several times, and reassured ren that it was fine. He wiped off some of the mud from the creek, and laughed a little.
"Ren...tell me why were those guards were here, and why did you tackle me?" He chuckled, and rubbed her chest. "Next time you do that, signal me to takes a breath." He blushed lightly, remembering her pushing him down. What? he was crushing over her, so it was natural, right? He convinced himself it was right, but tried to keep talking to ren, making these thoughts irrelevent.
"Its ok ren....really" Austin looked round the little cabin, looking to the wood used. wow, this was good wood.

Ren sighed. "Those guards...um, no...I mean...ugh," she said, frustrated. This was always hard to explain. "My family's been know to...well, hide +anima and they used to do this check up thing on us, since they really didn't have enough evidence to convince the king to throw us into jail, or whatever. So, they check up on us, but when I left for about two years, I figured they stopped doing the check up thing because, right before I left, I made my parents promise not to hide anymore."
"And I tackled you because...er, well," she leaned back in her chair, jestering towards his +anima mark. "And...well, you can figure out the rest." Then she remember how he felt back at the house. "But don't worry! These check up things only last for a few minutes. The maximum, so far, has been a half an hour. They havn't found anything for years now, so...yeah," she said. It was quiet a story to tell, but that's how things worked around here. It was...well, normal.

The boy happily nodded, taking in the story. "It's ok...Hmm, So I guess I'm not the first to take refuge in here? He asked, tilting his head towards her. He sat down, and laid there, stretched out.
"....You know whats weird?" He said, looking to her, with a little bit of seriousness in his eyes. "It's that you need to worry about me, when the first time i saw you, i worried about you. It's like we've had our roles reversed...freaky huh?" He chuckled and gave a warm smile, which returned to a gaze of the ceiling. Again, being aittle bit weird, he took in the detail of the wood.

"Heh, I guess it is a bit weird," Ren said. She stood up. "Well, you stay here. They'd notice if I went missing all the sudden, you know. But seriously, say here. If you even leave, that could be a risk for you and me," she said before she left the secert clubhouse and began her way back to the creek in a hurried fashion so that she'd be back at the creek before they would notice. Back where she was before she resumed the pose of trying to find her "lost earring" and began to look in the muddied waters.
"Hey, Ren," said a deep voice. She looked up, seeing the two guards. "Come up here," the other said. Ren stood up and began to walk up to the guards, squeezing the water out of her hair and dress.
"What's up?" she asked as if they were long time friends and not guards of Sailand. And before she could take another breath, they pulled out Austin's clothing and bag.
"Now who's is this?" the second asked. Ren shrugged. "I don't know." Wrong awnser, but she hadn't the time to think up anything else. So, the first guard grapped her left wrist, jabbing his knee into her stomach. She fell to the ground on her knees.
"Now where is the +anima that you're hiding?" the first asked, kneeling down to her level. She looked up at him and glared.
"I don't know what your talking about," she hissed. Again, wrong awnser. The second hit her on the back of her head with a large piece of wood. Ren fell to the ground, unconscience, yet knowing where they'd take her. They had promised a while ago that they'd take her to jail if they even suspected her of hiding +anima. The second threw up onto his horse and began to walk off with the knocked out girl while the first trailed behind the two, looking back to see if anyone was following.

Watching from the little house, austin gritted his teeth, clentched his fists. "Its because of me...." He said quietly. He wanted to open the door, chase the guards, and kill them on sight, but he decided to be smarter. Yes he opened the door, but the back one, sneaking towards the house, quickly and quietly. He opened the door, and called for the family. "REN'S BEEN TAKEN!"
