"I'm going to get to the top" Cin growled. Currently, she hung to a rock on the side of a cliff that was supposed to be the end of the pathway to Sailand from Asteria. Wanting to find the most challanging way to get to Asteria, she had decided on this cliff, but the hardest thing was the way up. Why had the Kim-ur-kur chosen such a stupid place to put a tail? Wait, don't awnser that.
She let go of a rock, that had been cutting into her hand, and grabed onto a new one right as her other hand slipped. She wasn't fit for this kind of chore. She didn't get by with arm strength. She got by with being able to dodge anything her way.
She moved her leg to push herself up high, detirmined to get to the top. Suddenly, there was nothing to support her weight on her foot, which was the only thing left keeping her falling. She grabbed onto a weed, branch thing-y coming out of the rock. Dispite the thorns digging into hand on the sturdy plant, she held on. An idea appered in her head. Time for what she was good at. Swinging her legs forward and backward, she managed to rock herself. She spotted a small ledge just a yard away. Though the thorns on the plant ripped her hands as she swung, she managed to bite it down until she was high enough to let go and jump for the ledge.
Letting go of the painful plant, she made a jump for the small ledge. Just barely missing the ledge, she tried grabbing it as she fell and caught it. But with her sigh of relief, her hands slipped from the smooth surface of the ledge, falling. She tried reaching for the other rocks on the cliff, but she was just too far away from them. The next thought, and hopefully not her last, was, This. Is going to hurt.

Asher looked up towards the cliffs, the wind blowing her hair back. What the heck was that climbing the cliff? She glanced back and forth, then looked up again just as the figure was falling. Startled, she stepped back. The figure fell, hitting some sharp edges of the rock on the way down. Every time she hit something, Asher winced.
At last, the figure fell out of sight. Asher furrowed her brows, then shrugged.
"That," concluded Asher, "is not something you see every day."

Bam! Cin hit a rock. Bam! She hit a tree branch. SLAM! She hit the ground with a loud thud. She layed on the ground, on her side. Suprisingly, she didn't hurt at all. Not the bleeding palms of her hands. Not the arm she FELL on top of. Not even her back, which it what she hit the most on her way down. She looked up. How far had she fallen? Well, it looked like quiet a drop.
"This should hurt" she said. But it didn't. She was probably on that boarder between unconsciece and immense pain. Personally, she'd take the pain. She fought to keep her conscience, and eventually won, but with a price.
Cin's scream eccoed, probably, throughout the entire area. Her hands felt like they were burning. The shoulder she lay on felt dislodged and her back felt like it was snapped in half. Maybe she should have let unconscience win...

Asher clamped her hands over her sensitive ears as a piercing scream shook the very sky. When it finally died away, she caustiously removed her hands. Who was that? It must have been the figure, falling only seconds ago.
She bounded lightly over the rocks, her light feet barely touching their hard surface. As she ran, she allowed herself to transform into her anima.
"I hope this isn't a slave hunter I'm trying to save," she growled. Then, as she drew closer to the cliff, a crumpled body lay motionless.

"d**n, d**n, d**n, d**n, d**n" Cin cursed over and over again, trying to cope with the pain. Even though going with unconscience could have saved her this pain, she'd hate to be seen weak and helpless. Besides, what if a soldier came and reconized her? That would be horrible!
She heard someone running her way and got up, dispite her countless injuries and brusies. She fell slightly forward from the pain in her body, but gained her footing again.

The girl shifted, and got to her feet. Asher stopped running, watching from a distance. She took a hesitant step forward. This girl had a heavy fall, and needed help. She frowned, debating her chances of the girl being a slave catcher. You could never be too careful.
Finally, her guilty conscious won over. She approached, but slowly. "That was a nasty fall you had."

"Oh" Cin said, loosening her stance. "You...saw?" she asked, wincing at the pain in her back. Well, it was a pretty bad fall in a fairly open area. Cin let herself fall to the ground, sitting on her butt- which, suprisingly, was one of the parts of her body that hurt the least.
"d**n that hurt..." she muttered as she let herself lay on the ground. She peered up at the girl. "Oh, hi, Anima" she said. That name seemed to be the same name she gave everyone with a +anima. No lone +anima has yet earned her respect for her to use their real name. Heck, no one in the world has earned her respect for her to use their real name. Crazy stuff, huh?

Asher rushed the top of her erect ear. She was a red wolf anima, tail, ears, claws and teeth included.
"You a hunter or not," she spat. "You seem to have a disrespect for anima, form what I can tell." She spread her claws out. "I don't have any problem cleaning up the trash around here."
She turned her hand palm down, flexing it. Her bright amber eyes burned like fire. Please let this be a slave hunter.

"Eeeeeewwww....Noooo..." Cin wined, closing her eyes. "Ew, not slave hunters. No, I'm worse than that. I'm a theif. A good one too" she said with a devious smile. "Almost most wanted in the country, Anima," she said, giving herself a thumbs up.
She looked up at the cliff. "I was just trying to see where that cave up there went to..." she explained, looking up at the hole in the cliff, water pouring from it.
"Now, I fell crappy" she mused. Opening her eyes, she looked up at the girl. "Help me, 'kay?"

Asher nodded. "Thieves are fine with me, until they mess with my creations. I sell stuff at markets." She helped the girl up. "But I'm also a fighter, so you mess with me, and your right hand comes off. Plus anima or not."
She looked up towards the cave. "Hmm. Could break a fall like that. Unless your a feline anima, then you'd be alright." She paused. "That was a joke."
She set down her pack that she was carrying, and began pulling out herbs. "I have some knowledge in medicine and that kinda stuff."

"I sell stuff at markets too!" Cin mused, once on her feet. "But I don't think you sell stuff at the same place I do. I have speical favors with the black market." Then, she noticed that the girl was pulling out medicine.
"Those won't work with most of my injuries" she told the girl. "Except my hands. But herbs wont work with bruises and a dislodged shoulder," she said, looking at her peirced hands. Her right shoulder hung slightly limp and she was hunched over a bit from the brusies on her back and chest.

Asher shifted through her herbs. "Yes, for your hands. I have one that helps with pain too, or at least I hear. I haven't tried it myself, don' have a need yet." She withdrew her claws so that he could pick up a couple of herbs. "These." SHe handed the herbs to the girl.
Then, she stood. "Sometimes I steal, but only for food. I make everything I sell." She glanced over her shoulder. "I'm just hoping a tracker or hunter doesn't pick me up for selling at the Market."
She zipped her bag up again. "So, what's up in that cave of yours?"

"I dunno" Cin confinded. "I just heard that some +animas got to Sailand through that cave and I wanted to find the hardest way to get into Asteria, and...I dunno" she left off. She looked at the herbs in her hands.
"Am I supposed to eat them? I mean, I'm hungry and all, but, still..." she said, staring at the herbs in her bloodied hands.

Asher glanced up. "Those? Yes, you can just chew them. They're bitter though."
She stood. "Trying to travel into Asteria, then?" She paused, trying to ignore the ting of jealousy in her heart.
Glancing back out towards Sailand, she shivered. "If only I had the same freedom."

Unwillingly, Cin began to munch on the herbs. The girl was right. The food was bitter, but she managed to bit it down for the moment being.
"You don't?" Cin asked. "Even if you are a +anima, you still have many ways to get out of Sailand, you know" she said, then gaging on the herbs for their aweful taste. "I can help, but...I'm tired right now and I don't feel like it" she commented, spitting out the now soggy and chewed on herbs once their taste grew unbareable. She didn't care if they still would work now. They tasted horrible.
