Kalas wasn't exactly sure what it was that Alice was getting, but he didn't ask. It didn't really matter. "Hmm..." He liked rice, and they served plenty of flavors of it, so should he get that? Rice sounded pretty good, actually. So many flavors... But he'd stick with the tried and true flavors that he liked. "I-I'm getting ch-cheesy rice w-with s-steamed b-broccoli." It was an interesting breakfast, true, but you couldn't be too picky.
The waitress appeared, true to her word on checking on them in a few minutes. "Have you decided what to order yet?" she asked, a smile on her tired face. Kalas nodded quickly, speaking first. "I-I'll have th-the ch-cheesy r-rice with s-steamed b-broccoli," he stammered.
The waitress nodded, writing it down, and then turned to Alice. "And what'll you have?"

Hmm...cheesy rice and broccoli. Even though Alice didn't especially like rice, that did sound good. She took a final, quick glance though the menu, before deciding to stick with her original decision. "How about the quiche with goat cheese, ham, and spinach."
"All right then." The waitress nodded, jotting down her order on a notepad. "I'll have the cook get your orders started, and they should be out within twenty minutes." She announced, before heading over to a table next to them.
That sounded like a long time considering how hungry she was, but she supposed she did have to give them time to cook, especially with the restaurant being as busy as it was. She briefly noticed how much more unused to being hungry she was now. She'd gone for days without eating when she'd traveled as a wandering pickpocket, but now that she was traveling with Kalas, even though it'd only been a few days, she'd adjusted again to eating everyday. She'd started feeling a lot stronger, before she'd always felt so tired and weak. She did owe a lot to him...
