Ashel took in a deep breath as his feet finally touched the ground. At last! He panted for air, trying to get his tense, tired muscles to start relaxing. Quickly, he put his wings away, switching out of his +anima in case someone was around. He couldn't remember ever feeling so exhausted and hungry!
They'd flown the rest of the day after their departure and most of the following night - now it was the time just before dawn when a slight blue tint began returning to the sky. They'd landed just west of the port, in a field that seemed empty. Still, he took a last glance around to make sure that no one had seen him in his +anima form, before moving his hood away from his face.
He wondered if anyone realized that they were missing on the boat yet. If they were lucky, maybe they never would. There were a lot of people on the ship, and he didn't think any of them had been paying special attention to them. If they did, they'd probably think that they went overboard and drowned... He hoped their departure wouldn't end up attracting attention like that, but there was nothing he could do about it now.
"We made it!" He smiled over at Kimi, his breath finally starting to even out again. He'd been scared that he wouldn't be able to make the flight, and felt quite relieved and pleased with himself to have actually made it back to land. He almost felt ashamed to be so pleased of something he'd done with his +anima, but flying like that really had felt good, even if it had been scary. "We're finally back to Stella!"

Landing on the ground, her wings instantly dissappered. She gave Ashel a thumbs up -panting to hard to do anything else- when he mused that they were both in Sailand. She looked back at the waters. Had they really flown all that way?! That wasn't even half of the way to Asteria! It sure felt like it though.
That was one of her first trips. Though it may shock Ashel, it was true. The longest flight she had used them for was when she first gained them. Even that short flight on th boat did compare to that flight, or even this flight. She took a double take to look over her shoulder to make sure that they were where they actually were.
"Well, lets get going, should we?" she asked Ashel after she caught her breath.
Off in the distance, residing in a room on a third level. The small girl had a pair of binoculars in her hands, looking thought them. "So she came back after all," the little mused, removing the binoculars from her eyes, leaning back and smiling.

"Yeah." Ashel agreed with a nod. He looked around, trying to decide what the fastest way to approach the home where Mitsuki lived would be.
She lived in a household that was just a few blocks away from his parents... If they saw him, they would definitely wonder what he was doing home so early. But unless he wanted to spend a few weeks away somewhere, until the supposed duration of the trip, they were going to find out anyway. They would be furious when they realized he'd used his +anima to get back! He cringed inwardly, not looking forward to it, but decided to give it no more thought for now.
"Let's start heading this way." He suggested to Kimi, gesturing to his left. "The Mitsuki I know doesn't live all that far from here - she's pretty close to my house." A part of him wished they could stop to rest for a bit, but at least now he was using his legs instead of his exhausted wings as he started moving.

"Oh, really?" Kimi asked Ashel. He had lived that close to her sister- well, if it was her sister. It just seemed so strange to have been residing so close to this Mitsuki and not knowing at all. Her grieving could have kept her from noticing anything.
She followed behind Ashel, trailing behind him, still lost in her own thoughts. If this was Mitsuki, how would she react to this? Or, would she stay with her sister, or take her sister to Asteria. The possibilities were endless.

It had just started to get light outside as they reached the neighborhood that held both Ashel's house and Mitsuki's. Most people were probably still asleep, though Ashel thought he could hear some activity coming from the buildings.
He stopped as they reached a particular house. It was made of wood, having several stories dotted by curtained windows. It was very fancy and formal looking, almost even more so than his house. The curtains were lacy, and a wooden fence went all the way around it, circulating a garden of roses and other flowers and hedges.
"This is it. This is where the Mitsuki I know lives." Ashel announced. "I wonder if they're awake inside or not..." Should they go right in, early as it was, or should they wait a bit?
[[Sometimes that's as long as I can get in 10 minutes too xD)

"Well, we're here. We might as well" Kimi said, shaking slightly. If it wasn't her Mitsuki...No, she didn't want to think about it. She lifted her hand, about to knock on the door- maybe a night servant, or something of that sort, would come and see to them- but before she could even tap the door, it opened showing a well dressed maid before them.
"The young mistress has been waiting for you. Come" the maid said as she turned around and began to walk. Kimi turned to Ashel, a look on her face asking him if they should.

Ashel blinked as a maid appeared in the doorway a moment before Kimi could knock on it. The young mistress had been waiting for them? She'd known they were coming? How? Had she seen them from a window somehow? If she had...how could she have known they were coming to see her? Had she...recognized Kimi? Did that mean this Mitsuki could really be her sister?
Ashel nodded as Kimi passed him a questioning glance. Now, he really wanted to know, and if they already knew they were there, they had no reason not to go in. Slowly, he started following the maid, entering the mansion.
[[It's okay - no worries!]]

The maid led them up a few stories before stopping at a door. She stood there for a few seconds before going off, probably do finish some chores? No that couldn't be right. It was the middle -well not the middle, but it was night- night, anyways. Kimi stood there at the front of the door, pondering on whether or not to open it. Inside could be slave traders for all she knew! But it was the chance she had chosen to take, so she might as well. She reached for the door knob, turning it, but not pushing. It just felt too...wrong opening a door without permission in someone else's house. Then again, the maid leading them up here felt like permission too. So...there so goes. Pushing the door open, she saw a small little blonde girl at the window, looking towards them!
"Mitsuki...?" Kimi asked softly. The girl smiled wide. Mitsuki got up and ran towards Kimi, tackling her older sister with a hug.
"Kimi!" she chimed. Kimi, suprised, stood there. After the shock wore off, she huggled her sister back and looked up at Ashel. "It's her" Kimi said with a smile, on the verge of crying as she kneeled down and gave her sister a hug, holding the girl close.

Feeling somewhat nervous himself at what Kimi would find as she opened the door, Ashel stood back and watched, surprised as the younger girl suddenly ran into her arms.
He grinned as Kimi looked back up to him, telling him that this Mitsuki was indeed the younger sister she'd thought dead. It really was her after all! He could hardly believe it, but he breathed a sigh of relief internally, glad that his words hadn't led her to disappointment and that their trip back to Sailand hadn't been for nothing. For the time that he'd known her, he didn't think he'd ever seen Kimi look so happy. There'd always been a slight, sad dullness in her eyes before, but now they were alive and bright. Maybe finding her sister had brought that brightness back to her.
For a moment, he almost felt slightly jealous. He'd never had a sibling, or any family at all besides his parents - what did it feel like to have someone that close to you? But he was so glad for Kimi's sake that they'd found her. From the way she'd talked, he knew how much she loved her sister and had been grieving for her, but now she wouldn't have to grieve or feel guilty about what happened anymore.
"That's wonderful! I'm so glad!" He eventually answered aloud, passing her another smile.

"Ah! Onee-chan!" Mitsuki said, a smile on her face. "You should stay here! With me! It's amazing here. And, um, we could hide the fact that you're a...you know and then we can be happy!" she said. She had seen Kimi and Ashel around, and when they were leaving but couldn't have done anything about it then. If she had, it would only cause more commotion. And then, Kimi had been wearing the collar. Now she wasn't. Now she could stay with her and the lord and lady.
"How about it?" she asked her sister, who was looking a bit unsure. If Kimi stayed here, she be afraid of being found out. But if she left, she'd have to leave her sister. She knew her sister couldn't want to leave this life for a life of traveling in Asteria. Maybe she could stay just for a while, and then leave in the spring for Asteria. Kimi looked to Ashel for help.

Ashel was silent for a moment as Kimi passed him an uncertain glance, the boy stumbling over his own tongue.
Even though he'd never decided whether or not he'd been going to stay, he had to admit having gotten rather attached to the idea of going to Astaria with Kimi. But...if she stayed here, even though she now had her sister...and a new family...he'd still see her, wouldn't he? He would have both her and his parents. Though they would undoubtedly find it odd that his slave had somehow ended up living collarless with the neighbors. But why did he have to justify everything he did to them?
"Err..." He sputtered, still trying to think of what to say. "I...uh... Just do what would make you happy." He smiled. He wished he could come up with something more helpful to say, but it was hard to imagine how Kimi must be feeling. He wasn't good with choices like that himself.
