Mouse and Shark walked along the road that would take them to Seyoko, hand in hand. With Austin trailing behind them, they should reach their destination... oh, a half hour, at the most. Seyoko wasn't that far away from Stella, which was probably why Snake chose that place to meet up with them.
Mouse looked back at Austin, releasing Shark's hand and frowning slightly. Ever since she had to explain to him about shopping, he had seemed a little down. Then again, they had been walking for like five minutes, but... "Is something wrong, Austin?" she asked seriously, quite unlike her normally childish nature.

The boy continued to walk, seeming to ignore mouse, for a few minutes anyway. "Nothing..." He muttered, continuing looking at the ground, memorizing the path they were travelling. Jingling came from his pockets, as he ran two fingers over the coin in the fabric bag, keeping himself amused.........slightly.

Mouse tipped her head to the side, frowning slightly. "Are you sure? Cause you don't look like everything's alright..." She walked backwards, right next to Shark, though she kept her gaze on Austin. Her gaze was just as intense as Shark's was. Things rub off, when you've been closer than close for a total of six years.
Shark reached out, still walking forward, and bopped his sister on the head. "Mouse. If he says he's alright, don't bother him. Not everyone spills everything on their minds, like you." She took no offense at the words, having heard them many times before.

The boy ignored them both for a minute, blanking out everything they talked about. To be honest, he didnt know what to say, or do. He thought about meeting this snake person, how he would talk to him, and what he would say. In his mind, he practised something like a script, but would it be good enough.

Austin was being very quiet, like he was thinking about something. So, unconciously and slowly, both Mouse and Shark grew quieter, talking to each other only by looks and hand signals, which they were quite good at, having had to rob many places before. You couldn't really talk then.
Mouse, however, couldn't stand it for too long. "Hey, Shark, do you know how Snake is?" she asked, somewhat worriedly. He had been feeling unwell when they last saw him, so she was unsure how he was now...
Shark shook his head. "He's still not completely better, I'm afraid." he told his younger sister, worried slightly as well.

The boys silence was broke. "Whats wrong with him?" His voice somewhat sympathetic, unlike earlier. He smiled a little, and caught up to the two. "sorry if i zoned out, needed to think about stuff" he said, a little cheerier than before. It seemed like what ever her had thought about made him concentrate, and must have been important.

Mouse nodded slightly at his apology, distracted by what Shark had told her, although she had pretty much already known. "He's been sick. For over half a year." She didn't feel like including the specifics now. "We've been trying to find someone who can cure him, but..."
Shark helped her, going into slightly more detail. "He's bad. If he doesn't get cured soon, it could..." He hesitated, glancing at his younger sister. He didn't want to say it out loud in front of her, even though she was older than Austin, and the middle of the three. "It might not end so well."

The boy raised his eyebrow, and smiled a little, "So, you need a healer? well, if those years at the church didnt help, then ill roll over and die" He stated, proudly. He moved his bag to his stomach, letting him looker deeper. "What symptoms does snake have? Runny nose? Red eyes?" Austin listed, searching deeper and deeper.

Mouse shook her head, smiling ruefully. "Sorry, kid, but I doubt you could help." She sighed. "Coughing up blood, internal bleeding, and severe chest pains. I doubt you could help him, even after being at the Church." She blinked a second, surprised. The Church? She didn't like the Church so much, after someone there accused her of being a half-angel, half-demon. Just because her wings were grey...
Shark added on to her words. "We've had all the healers we could, period. I highly doubt you could help." His words, and eyes, were as harsh as usual.

His hand stopped moving at the 'internal bleeding'. He knew from that phrase, he couldnt help. Sighing out, he put his bag on his back, and looked to mouse, then to shark's hard face. "Well, im sorry i cant help....but what do we do now? if hes in so much pain, whats the point of me seeing him? i dont wanna be added stress...." He stated, for once his voice sounded strongly about his beliefs. He was never one to pull someone down, for the sake of it, be it work or stress. He prefered to be a helper, to lighten loads of stress, not piling more onto the person.

Mouse shook her head. "He'll still wanna see you. Sick or not, Snake is still the leader of our gang. His duties have kind of gone to the bare minimum, though, so he's glad when we let him do anything." She crossed her arms, grinning. "We haveta take good care of him, otherwise he'd run himself into the ground!"
Shark glanced in her direction, and then in Austin's. "Austin. Trust me, it's okay you come. He'll like seeing someone knew, as he normally doesn't get to leave his room."

The boy messed with his hair, thinking long and hair, "fine...." he said, he then gave a smile, "But first, i think its time to eat, dont you?" he asked, again, pulling his bag across his waist, and diving his hand into it, searching.

"Eat?" Mouse blinked, surprised by his suggestion. "But we only have like five or ten minutes till we get there!" she whined, halting her walk. "If we wait, we can eat with Snake!" The girl announced delightly, apparently overjoyed to see the leader of her gang again.
Shark hit her on the head, as was his custom. "Mouse. He's sick, remember? He's on a strict diet, and it wouldn't be nice to eat other food in front of him." She nodded, agreeing. "Good." Dropping his pack to the ground, he pulled out two small sacks about the size of two small fists. He handed on to Mouse, who opened it eagerly.

Austin thingyed his head to the side, muttering an 'umm?' sound, as he plonked a nut into his mouth. He loved chestnuts, they were his fave snack. "What you got?" he asked, a little muffled from the food in his mouth. He crunched down hard, and his face lit up, smilling as he chewed the nutty goodness.

"Pot roast sandwich, two corn muffins, and..." Mouse wrinkled her nose, "A carrot." Sticking out her tongue, she reached into the sack and pulled out the dreaded vegetable, holding it by just two fingers. "Gross. I HATE carrots. They're all orange... and well, icky." Dropping it back in the sack, she pulled out a corn muffin, munching delightly on it. "Shark makes the best corn muffins, though."
Shark rolled his eyes slightly. "Mouse. You've only ever eaten my corn muffins." He knew he didn't look like the type to cook, but he did, anyway, when they were on trips. He wasn't the official cook for the gang, as he often had places to go, but he could cook far better than their cook, even though she wasn't bad.
