Cin stepped along the streets of Sailand's capital, Stella. A nice place to be. A nice place to steal. And most of all -dispite the large population- barely anyone here noticed her as one of the most wanted criminals that Sailand ever had! She could walk into a store and buy something without the chance of anyone going, "There's Sin! She's here! Run!" or something like that. She never really payed attention to bystanders. They were a nusance.
After buying a loaf of bread, some dried meat and stealing just a few things with her amazing pickpocketing skills, she walked back out onto the streets. Then she over heard to ladies talking.
"I heard that there's going to be a +anima outbreak, soon," she heard one say.
"Really? When do you think it's going to happen? I'll have my husband stay home for the day, if that's what it means," the other said. But that's all Cin got to hear before they walked out of hearing range.
With a smile, Cin willingly tossed away her food -but still keeping the pickpocketed items- and ran off in the direction that +anima where being sold. The largest slave market in all of Sailand. Stella's market.
She hid behind a few barrels of...of...of? Stuff. Anyways, she hid behind a few barrels of stuff to keep out of sight, and patically safe. If a +anima out break would happen, it might as well be today. It was rather late in the day and, for some reason, there wern't as many gaurds out. A once in a life time opertunity. If the rumors were true, Cin would have the time of her life.

Gariel approached the market stand, the disgust apparent on his face. +Anima...slaves..bah, wicked, cruel, unnecesary and unjust. He hated it, but it was the rule here in Sailand. He wasnt quite sure why he'd come here, maybe to step in if he saw any abuse. Those sick slave traders could be quite nasty, and do awful things to the people they caught. If he did catch such an act, Gariel would be forced to step in.
Weaving in and out of the crowds, he stayed well hidden, although there was no real need to. He didnt have his wings out, and was fairly well-dressed; as a typical Sailand teenager would appear. He blended in, and might be able to use that to his advantage later.
Once at a suitable distance from the main stand, Gariel found a barrel. It made a good perch, and, once sitting on it, he could see over the crowd, but was not high enough to make him stand out from everyone else. Good. Quietly he waited...for something. Maybe they'd bring out some recently caught people, or start an event. The good thing about Stella was that there was nearly always something going on (be it good or bad).

OOC: great idea! is there a specific plot now???
IC: Inalba sperad his wings out an began to glide as he aproached the straight between Asteria and Sailand, the Opal Sea. A rock whistled past his ear and he immediately banked hard left and flapped his wings a few times to climb higher.
He glanced down and saw a single ship coming from the Opal sea, with about three scout sloops closing in and looking hostile. Inalba thought briefly on what this could possibly mean, but went by without a thought.
he had not heard the words floating through the crowds as of recent- war was in the air.

OOC: i hope its okay tht i join
IC: Storm raised her chin to the sky, thingying her head slightly. Today seemed special somehow, full of hope. Yet, at the same time, there seemed to be a present danger. Her eyes trailed down the long line of plus anima, ready to be sold. Her throat constricted. She was a runaway slave, one that was being hunted. Clenching her fists, she thrust her way down the crowded street and to the stage. Just as a plus anima was to be announced, she jumped on to the stage. Her eyes glimmered. The crowd hushed, watching her carefully.
"Hey! Get away from the plus anima!" shouted a man as he shook his fist. "You'll get your turn!"
I glared down at him, then shifted my position so that I could see both the chained anima and the crowd. "I'm sorry. But I believe it is our turn," I cackled.

When a bow sat down on the barrels, Cin began to scoot to the side, until she was about five barrels away from him. Even though most people didn't see her as Cin, she still took precautions. Heck, who was she kidding? She never did that sort of thing! It was probably just this one time she was. She wanted to stick around here as much as possible to see what was happening. Though, all she could see so far was a few more people coming and going. And most of them were going with the slaves. Maybe the rumor was just a rumor. Well, she hoped it wasn't! A break out in war! Over slaves! This sounded great! She had to stay and wait. Then a man sat infront of her. On the barrel infront of her. She streached her neck to see without being seen. She was still in the shadows, she she guessed she was fine.
Finnally, someone came. A girl. She seemed odd. Well, as far as Cin could tell she was odd. She just had a weird sense to her as she came into the area. And she was right! The girl jumped onto the stage! A man shouted, shaking his fist. Weirdo. Then the girl said something. From where she was sitting, she couldn't quiet hear the girl, but she knew what the girl was saying. It was the uprise. Here. In Stella.
And you know what? Cin wanted to join in. Not because it looked like they were going to need her help, but because she was bored and less people knew the face of Sin, the most wanted criminal in Sailand. More people needed to know her face.
The man infront of her sat up and she heard a jingle. Strange. She looked up. On the back of his pants were a ring of keys. It was a long shot but Cin guessed he was one of the slavetraders, or what ever. Being the criminal she was, she managed to steal his keys without him noticing. Then she stood up and zoomed through the crowd, reaching the front. She tossed the girl the keys. The gaurds were to come any time now, and Cin could keep them busy. The other girl could free the slaves.
"It's an uprise!" a woman shrieked (sp?). Cin smiled. Yes it was. And she guessed there were other +anima hidden in the crowd. Might as well come out now. No better time to do it. She saw the gaurds coming in the distance.
"Girly," Cin said. "Free those guys," -she cracked her knuckles- "I'll keep everyone busy," she said with a devious smile.

'Oh dear...' Gariel muttered under his breath. This, he had a feeling, would be one of the bad kind of events, still, chin up! It would make his day a bit more interesting atleast.
The crowd was getting more than a little restless, some already leaving quickly, alarmed by what was being said by others. Gariel watched them and couldnt blame them; if this whole issue went on, things could get a bit messy. Still, part of Gariel knew these people were sick to want to come and watch a slave action, they were getting what they deserved if things did get out of control.
Two girls in stage were really stirring things up, and guards were now getting involved. Not good, some of those guys really didnt care about hurting others. Despite this, though, Gariel decided to wait on the barrel a little longer, and only step in if needbe.
((I'm going to continue to post after Ren, as a posting order. this doesnt mean anyone else cant join, but i think it would be easier and fairer if we stuck to a general order, and intergrate new poeple into it when they join))

Stormcrest ran over to the line of anima, pushing past the men trying to block her way. She managed to free several plus anima, and thankfully they helped hold off the rising crowd as she freed more. Soon there were masses of anima fighting the humans. Many humans, and some plus anima, were already fleeing from the scene.

Inalba leveld out and soared. Tracing the ground with his eyes- by this time he was over Stella. Below there was a huge rabble. Curiositty got the best of him and he pulled in his wings and dove to investigate.

The gaurds came and Cin messed with them, like she usually did. The girl freed the slaves and then the free slaves began to help. Just as Cin thought it out to be. And suprisingly enough, there wern't as many gaurds as Cin had planned on. She dodged easily, keeping them occupied while the girl continued to do her job
Cin ducked, slid, jumped and what ever else you could think of to avoid being beaten by the gaurds. Or should she say, buffed gaurds. Then again, just because you're buff didn't mean you were totally smart. She managed to knock out two gaurds because they both came at her, in different directions. She found it funny and had laughed. Her laugher only lasted a second, though. More gaurds were comming. Dammit. Either more people needed to step in or this would be her last rise in fame.

Not good. People were getting hurt now. Gariel didnt like that. Jumping down from his perch, he casually stretched his limbs and shook them out. Most spectators had fled by now, leaving only a rabble of guards and +anima. This wouldnt be fun; a difficult task to try and restore some order. Oh well...
Just as he walked into full view, Gariel caught sight of something above; something up in the sky? Too large to be one of the birds native to this area. Perhaps an escaped slave, but why was he flying towards them? An outsider coming to have some fun...Well whichever, Gariel could do with some help. Slipping into an alley, Gariel spread his colourful wings and launched into the air to confront the flying newcomer.
Within seconds he came face to face with the boy. Younger looking, black wings, he noted. 'Hey' It was blissfully quiet up here, compared to what was going on down below.

(imma here! XD sorry for the late ness of joining, but lets get this started!)
Walking into stella, Austin noted something....odd. The noice level was outragous as the dust was flying. He had just walked into a battle! Frowning, he made his way to somewhere to hide. Finding an alleyway, he looked to the fighting, disgusting. "Dont they know this wont solve anything!" He shouted, annoyed, yet quiet enough to be detected. He looked to the skies to see some bird anima. This must be a fight between the non +anima and +anima, He thought.
Extending his arm, it started to morph into the claw that was bestoed apon him. his arm armed with the plates of armour that the mark gave. He used this arm to protect him as he sneaked out the alley, and into the fight. Austins goal wasnt to kill as many as he could, nor was it to abandon his fellow +anima. It was to protect the younger generation that had been pulled into this by accident. It wasnt fair for them right?

IC: Inalba parachuted his wings to bring him to a halt. He tilted his head at the very pretty girl.. wait.. a boy? Yes, he was certain it was a boy. Inalba remained silent, regarding his wings wonderingly, and lightly flapping his expansive wings in order to stay airborne.
He blinked and shook his head, "I am.. sorry." he muttered, "What is..happening now?"

Cin, after fooling many gaurds into somehow knocking each other out, if it was letting them run or clobble each other or what ever else could possibly knock them out, ran off. Her job here was done. She noticed, not only +anima running off (some following her), but more gaurds coming. Dammit. She was tired and somewhat sore. She hadn't fought off gaurds like that for a while and it slighty hurt.
Though it may sound stupid to others, she ran in the direction of the gaurds coming her way. Suprised, the gaurds didn't stop her. She just ran through and past them, as she somehow expected. She kept running for a while, what she was good at. Finnally, exasted, she stoped in the middle of a road. Thankfully, due to what just happened and the time of day, no one was out and about.
She yawned, sighed then continued on her way, walking. Then, Wahm! a large wooden object hit her head. She fell to the ground, passed out. Behind her was one of the supposidly knocked out gaurds, holding a peice of wood in his hands. He looked angry. Just a bit...too angry.

OOC: Somehow I only just noticed this thread yesterday. XD I'll join in - hopefully I'm not interfering with anything. Is there a posting order at all?
IC: Josephine raced into town as fast as she could, instinctively drawing out the sword she carried from her belt.
She cursed under her breath, wishing she'd come more prepared. She hadn't known ahead of time that this was going to happen. She'd simply been making a casual trip to Stella when she saw people fleeing from the city and cries coming from within, before realizing what was happening. At last! At long lost, a rebellion had begun in the capital. The +anima were fighting back.
She laughed, her cackle coming out in an odd mixture of menace and excitement as an odd grin spread across her lips. She hadn't had a chance to change into the usual ghost-like costume she wore when fighting, but regardless, she wouldn't miss this for the world! This was fantastic! Wonderful!
Reaching into her bag while she ran, she pulled out a familiar white, feathered theater mask from one of the pockets, carefully tightening it onto her face. It would have to do. It wasn't the full costume, but now at least no one would be able to see her face. Taking the hat she was wearing off her head and shoving it in the bag, she switched into her +anima form, feeling a tail stretch out behind her and her one remaining ear transform into a fox-like one as claws sprouted from her fingertips and her teeth became fangs.
She rushed into Stella, quickly glancing around. Some of the +anima had started fleeing, and so had some of the guards, but the fight was still blazing. From the looks of it, it had started from the center of the slave market.
Hearing a loud thud, she saw one of the guards smack a girl with a wooden board, the girl collapsing below as the guard towered over her. Instantly dashing over, she swung her sword at the man, the startled guard barely having time to back up enough to avoid having it cut right through his middle. He still took a scrape on his chest, though, the man momentarily clutching his wound as he glared at her in rage. With his other hand, he swung his wooden board in her direction, but Josephine ducked, making the weapon fly out of his hands with a well-timed strike with the blunt side of her weapon. His weapon gone, the guard uttered a curse and backed off, leaving her with the unconscious girl.
"Hey, wake up!" Josephine bent down next to her, giving the girl a shake. She didn't have time to deal with this long, but this was not a good place for a +anima to be knocked out. ...Wait. She looked over the girl again. She'd been fighting the guards, but unlike the rebelling +anima, she didn't have any animal features. Was this girl not a +anima? Was she a human? Why would a human have been fighting the guards? Tensing and quickly letting go instinctively, she stood up, momentarily glaring down at the girl.

((XD its okay people can join whenever. i did try and bring up the idea of an order but people ignored it....anyways, i've decided to just post after ren does)
Gariel chuckled at the strange boy. 'Dont be sorry, what have you done wrong?'
Adjusting his wings to the air currents, Gariel tilted to get a good view of down below. It almost looked a different scene from up in the air, but he'd already seen earlier what was going on.
'Some kind of riot...+anima slaves escaping with the help of a couple of spectators, from what i can gather. The guards are loosing it; lashing out at anyone' Gariel gritted his teeth. Innocent people were getting caught up in this. He didnt blame the poor slaves for attacking with full-force, considering what they had probably been though before now, but still...
'Hmm...' He moved back to face the boy. 'Should we dive in? Its dangerous down there, but i'm not going to leave without doing my bit to sort things. Of course, i dont want to put you in any unnecessary danger. What will it be?' Gariel prepared himself for the descent, sinking lower and staring up at the boy.
