Josephine charged forward as the guards began to close in, switching her aim at the last second and hitting the unsuspecting guard next to her original target while the latter swung his weapon futilely through the air. Before he could reposition from the missed attack, she lashed out at him from the side, sending him to the ground with a gash in his side.
A guard struck out at her from the left, the girl barely managing to spin and parry as his weapon bounced off hers with a twang. She attacked back, giving the guard a hit that forced him to recoil back.
Hearing footsteps come up behind her, she dove to the side, barely managing to avoid having the wooden board forced down on her head as it struck her back and knocked her down. Crying out, she swung her sword at the attacking guards legs, managing to make him back off before he could hit her again.
Her single ear pricked up as she heard the voice of the human thief call out. Her back throbbed as she got up, but she almost instinctively dashed towards the guard holding the girl, stabbing him in the shoulder. The man screamed, his grip on the thief releasing.

Storm growled. "I might not have to fear anything, but you sure do." She snarled, feeling her plus anima side taking over. Squirming, she felt their grip loosen around her wrists. "When am I getting down?" She narrowed her eyes at the newcomers.

Cin smiled as she dropped to the ground, bending her knees so that the shock wouldn't hurt too much as she hit the ground. She looked at the guards. They were all passed out on the ground. Well, except two or three scrany looking ones that ran off. Ha, she thought watching the guards run off, a hand on her hip, wimps.
She sighed and sat down on the dirt ground as if nothing had happened. Her usual way of dealing with things: act like they never happened. Or something of that sort. Cin was a rather...complicated person. Only one person in history has yet to figure her out! Yumio, but he wasn't here at the moment. He was in Asteria...or on the way back to Sailand? She hoped he was coming back. She needed a place to lay low for a while.
"I'm Cin," she said, introducing herself with a smile. It's wasn't a real one or a fake one. Just her normal reaction to things. She looked around, now paranoid about the whole head wack from the guard thing from before. She looked back up at the girl. "And you would be?"

A mouse +Anima named Suzannah Leotte had been freed! She was free! She could finally search for her sons...If they were alive...Oh, she hoped they were doing fine!
After Suzannah had been freed of the chains, she ran, hoping that her current non-+Aima form would be a good disguise for the guards. Maybe the wouldn't recognize her...
The next thing Suzannah knew when she bolted away, chaos gripped the crowd of Sailand humans as guards rushed in. She was lost in a screaming crowd. Wonderful. Suzannah found herself running in circles, pretty much like the humans were. Then, they started throwing rocks at...at...
Mrs. Leotte looked up to see two bird +Anima's, holding a squirming girl in their arms. What are they doing!? Suzannah thought, but when she looked at the chaos...Suzannah understood why. Grumbling, Suzannah grabbed the wrist of a young boy who was aiming a throw at one of the +Anima's. "Don't do that! You'll hurt one of them!" Suzannah rebuked, "Where's your mother!? Why, if she was here I bet you she would--"
"His mother's right here!" Yelled a feminine voice before a rock was tossed at Suzannah. The mouse +Anima looked to see a pompous-looking women holding a rock. "Now release my child before I report you!"
Glaring at her, Suzannah released the boy, and was forced to run away becuase the brat began to throw rocks at her. Like awful parent, like bratty child... Suzannah thought bitterly until she spotted two girls with unconcious guards at their feet. Then...she saw that one of the guards behind them wasn't unconcious...
Suzannah speeded at the guard, her mouse +Anima form accidentaly took over. She shrunk three feet, her ears turned huge, and a bald, tail-tip poked out from under her blue dress. Suzannah noticed this a few heart-beats later her accidental transformation, but she didn't switch back becuase now she could run faster. The guard was beginning to get to his feet, and she stuck her elbow out in-front of her.
The guard fell down a moment after Suzannah jammed her elbow in-between his ribs, dropping his spear as he went. The guard got on one hand and reached for his spear with his other, but Suzannah grabbed it just in time and hit in the back of the with it, knocking him out for real.
(ooc: ...Suzannah reminded me of Speedy Gonzales in this post...)

Josephine stared down at the girl, apparently called Cin, for a moment, deciding whether or not to answer.
"Josephine." She eventually replied simply, a slight tinge of hesitance noticeable in her voice. It wasn't everyday she gave a human her name, but she had fought alongside this one, so perhaps it was due. After all, it wasn't everyday one gave her their name, either.
She stared down at her for a second longer, before a loud thud made her spin her gaze behind her. She looked back just in time to see a rather small woman - a mouse +anima, she realized - knock a guard out with his own spear.
She tensed in surprise. She hadn't noticed a guard was still conscious - if that woman hadn't been there...
Sparing a brief glance to make sure that no other conscious guards had snuck up on them, she took a few steps towards the mouse +anima. "We were distracted, thank you for stopping the guard." She smiled politely, glad to be addressing a fellow +anima this time.

"Oh, um, yeah," Cin began, not knowing what to say. Because she gave her name to the girl, she could have been hit unconscience...AGAIN?! "Thanks," she said softly, slightly scowling at the fact she had been saved by...-she took another glance at the small woman-...an old lady. She crossed her arms, closing her eyes (looking like she was thinking of something serious) as she thought about what to do. What to do...
"Hey, you know, we really can't stay here," Cin noted plainly. She smiled deviously. "But I have a place were we can stay safe," she said. Then she looked around. No one was around. She looked in the sky. Okay, there were people around, but they didn't count.
"Okay, split up, kay? But meet me behind warehouse number nine at the port," she whispered to the two older...girl and woman? And then she looked back up into the sky. "HEY YOU GUYS!" she yelled. "FOLLOW ME!" she called out to them. Hopefully they would follow. She doubted they could find any better shelter than she was providing.
And with that she ran in a random direction. Well, just because it was random didn't mean she didn't know where she was going. She knew this city inside out. Heck, she should with all the stealing she did around here. She ran into an alley (still seeable if you were a bird +anima) and quickly made her way to the port and behind warehouse number nine. Sure it wasn't the warehouse she was going to take them too, but she really couldn't just tell them which warehouse it was right about, right? She'd lead them there if they came.

Suzannah smiled. "Believe me, it was my pleasure." The mouse +Anima listened to Cin. Prodding her dress, Suzannah was pretty sure she had seen Cin before...when she was dragged into Stella...Feh. It was probably her imagination.
"Warehouse 9..." Suzannah nodded thoughtfully. She knew where Warehouse 9 was, she had seen it on the day she had arrived to the capitol of Stella. "Alright." Suzannah muttered before Cin called to the bird +Animas and the girl, then dashed away. "Good luck." Suzannah said to Josephine before turning ot the road. An imaginary map appeared in her head, the same imaginary map Suzannah had thought up when she entered Stella.
Twitching her mouse-tail, Suzannah speeded away, using the mental-map, Suzannah hurried off to the port.

Skye stepped forward. "So this is stella" he thought. He carefully thought to himself that he heard that there was a +anima war. "It cant be true" he heard a few humans say. Skye just wanted to see what was going on. He ruffled his hair and walked in. "It sure looks like theres a war" he thought as he saw a few people staring and whispering at his "marks". "This is going to be fun" He said

Gariel helped Inalba lower the girl to the ground, and then took several paces back. She was going just a bit savage, and there was no need for that. Self defence would be different, but there was no reason for her to be threatened.
'Calm down, it would be better for everyone if you did' He edged forward and held out his hands. 'I have no weapons' He wasnt so sure about Inalba though. Maybe the boy had something nasty hidden. 'What about you?' he asked him.
There seemed to be alot of screaming...Gariel spotted the girl that had started this whole mess, and a couple of others. Hmph...he gritted his teeth and thought about what he'd say if ever he met one of them.

Storm stood shakily. "What was all that about?" She landed on the ground with a thump, continuing to glare at the two boys. "I swear, next time you do that without warning-" She took several deep breaths, not bothering to say what would happen to them.

Josephine was silent for a moment. Retreat? From this? Never! This was the kind of thing she lived for! But... She felt a sharp pain in her upper back, the wound from where the guard had smacked her throbbing as blood slowly trickled down her spine. In the end she didn't say anything before the human girl called Cin ran off, and nodded as the mouse +anima hurried away after her.
Warehouse 9. What reason did she have to meet with some human at their hideout? She'd been handling this sort of thing herself for years!
Josephine impulsively ran back out into the fray without another thought, knocking down an unsuspecting guard by swiping at his feet and the rendering him unconscious with a blow to his head with the blunt side of her sword. Reacting quickly as a startled, second guard tried to counter, she sent him down by stabbing his thigh as she ducked and giving him a smack in the head as well. But before she could react again, she felt a blade cut a deep gash down her left side.
She cried out in pain, turning to the new, third guard as she managed to tear herself away from the weapon. Enraged, she stabbed her sword hard into the man's shoulder, the blade barely missing his chest. As the guard cried out himself, she quickly pulled it out and knocked him unconscious like the others before he could recover.
She stumbled back, breathing heavily as she clutched her side. She could feel blood ooze through her clothes and her vision blurred a bit.
D**m! ...Warehouse 9...
She revisited the idea in her head. She hated the idea of following a human, but...a safe place to stay, huh? She had no choice now. She couldn't fight. Not now.
Josephine cursed internally, feeling ashamed and frustrated with herself. This was what she'd dreamed of, but now she...
She spared a last, regretful glance at the battlefield, the fight was still going on, but it seemed to have calmed just a bit, though in whose favor, she couldn't tell. She noticed that the two bird +anima that Cin had called out to before, they seemed to have released the +anima girl they'd been carrying and were now talking with her. Maybe they hadn't heard. She took a quick glance to make sure that no guards - well, conscious guards - were in the immediate area, before calling out.
"ALL +ANIMA ARE RECOMMENDED TO GATHER AT WAREHOUSE 9 FOR THE TIME BEING!"
She wasn't quite sure why she'd repeated Cin's words. Maybe because she was forced to retreat, a part of her wanted at least some of the action to follow her. Maybe she was actually being selfish.
A slight, ironic smile came over her face, before she turned and quickly started retreating towards the port that held the warehouse, hoping to make it before anymore guards tried to stop her. She didn't know whether any other +anima would follow or not, but that was their decision. But regardless, and regardless of the fact that she was forced to retreat, this was still all so exciting! So thrilling! Everything she'd hoped for had finally begun! She gripped her side as she moved away from the market, the grin still on her face even as each step throbbed.

(ooc: Let's see...I think when I joined this thread we splitted into two groups...But now I THINK we're regrouping...so...it's...my turn? ) BIC: Suzannah had now arrived at port. "Warehouse 9...Warehouse 9...Warehouse 9..." She looked around, "THERE!" Suzannah speeded over to the warehouse, then behind it. "Ah...okay...Hmmm..." The mouse +Anima looked around. Where are the other +Animas? She thought, rubbing her hands together. I must've out-run them...(ooc: ...I hate this post...)

Inalba cut her off, "You'll do what." he said in a quiet voice. It was not a question, rather a challenge. "Stay where you are, or, I promise, I'll pick you up again and drop you off on a plateau to cool off for the next couple of hours. Believe me- I've done it." He turned and gave Gariel a shy smile. "A Hyena +anima, kinda went crazy. Sat her down on a rock in the middle of the ocean.."
He turned back to the angry girl. "But there's no reason to be afraid, we were just trying to help." Inalba flapped his black wings a few times until he was a little bit off the ground, "Nice to meet you though.."

Gariel was a little disturbed. 'But...what did you do with the poor Hyena +anima...surely you went back afterwards!!' Leaving someone stranded like that was simply awful, he thought. It was possible to forgive anyone, right? That sort of punishment he considered more than a little cruel, but Inalba was merely a boy...he kept it to himself.
Shaking his head as if to say nevermind, he turned his attention back to what was happening here and now. 'Warehouse 9...did you hear that too?' Perhaps he's imagined that call, though it was very unlikely. Whatever was going on at this warehouse, Gariel wanted to investigate. It could be more trouble...

Storm hadn't listened to what the bird anima was saying to her, even as he flapped away. Her attention, rather, was fixed on her surroundings. Warehouse 9...looked like the place to be.
"Yeah, sure," she muttered as the bird anima talked to each other. This was a day for the plus anima to finally revolt! Who could stand around now, when there was a chance to free anima everywhere!
