BACKGROUND,
Tana grew up as an only child, though she wasn't spoiled like most only children. From the minute she could walk, Tana was put to work tending for the many pigeons her family kept. Her family own a messenger pigeon breeding business that specialized for the top-notch messenger pigeons the trained. Though they focused more on pigeons, the Hayashi family also bred and cared for a large array of birds.
From an early age, Tana learned how to call birds to her just by using certain noises and body movements. She had a knack for befriends birds and she planned on taking over the business if her father was ever to fall ill. Around the age of 12, Tana went missing in the forest after she trailed to far from her parents watch and became lost in the vast woods. Knowing little of how to survive out in the woods, she became dehydrated and emaciated.
Close to death she look up to the sky and saw two of the release doves she had been training single-handedly before she became lost. Tana watched their silhouettes dance through the air. She knew she was going to die but she didn't want to die without saying good bye to the doves she trained. Tana called out to them weakly and let them rest on her hand. When she felt that she had no more energy left, Tana let the doves fly off and went to lay on the forest floor though she found that it felt as if she had two large bags attached to her shoulders.
Tana stumbled to her feet and glanced over her shoulders to see two large white wings that grew from her shoulders. She was amazed yet frightened at the same time. Her first thoughts were that she had died already and the wings were there to aid her spirit to heaven though she had found that she wasn't strong enough to fully lift herself into the air. Upon further inspection, Tana found that feathers covered most of her body except for her forearms, legs and face.
Even though Tana longed to return home, she knew she couldn't. Her parents rarely accepted anyone who was different and, though she was their only child, Tana knew she would be no exception. For a few days after gaining her +anima she watched her family from the surrounding woods and memorized their daily schedule. When the chance came when both of her parents left the house unattended, Tana grabbed her bag and packed it full of food, supplies, clothes and money and headed off to the nearest town. Seeing the chance to also say good-bye to her feathered friends, Tana went to their cages and saw how terrible their life really is and set them free, believing that they had wings for a reason: to live a life full of freedom. Over time she heard of the +anima and came to the conclusion that she was one too. Tana made it her goal to find more +anima and form her own village consisting soley of +anima.
"Nobody misses the song until the bird is gone."
WEAPONS,
Since she has to find a way to get food while traveling, Tana crafted the bow and arrows out of fallen branches.
► Small Dagger
Tana bought this small dagger from a merchant who claimed it was made out of high-quality iron. Instead it was just a sharpened polished rock.[/ul]
DO PEOPLE FEAR YOU?
She normally doesn't reveal that she is a +anima unless she is positive that they are also a +anima.
HOW DID YOU GET YOUR +ANIMA?
Tana got her +anima by the release doves she had hand trained when she was close to death in the forest behind her house. [/sup] [/blockquote][/blockquote][/blockquote]
