Feras was getting nervous. He couldn't do anything without looking suspicious. A thought came to his mind and he looked towards his gaurd. Feras gestured for the gaurd to stop Gariel.
Yuuta had his sword in one of his bound hands and he stretched until it was right next to the cloth. He wuickly cut the cloth off of his mouth and screamed "GARIEL! BEHIND YOU!" just as the gaurd had walked up to Gariel.

((OMG, ITS BEHIND YOU!!! hahaha, love it))
Gariel spun round just in time to see the guard holding a long sword inches from Gariels throat. In a flash he spread his wings and dove out of the way, blinding them both with feathers. Feras called out in anger, but also in something else. Now he knew Gariel was a real +anima, the pretty boy could be sold! It was perfect, if the winged boy could be brought down easily. Meanwhile, he had to tend to his other catch, the unruly crocodile kid.
Gariel winced as his right wing pained him, and with the guard throwing his sword this way and that, it was very difficult to find space to take off; not unless he wanted to loose one wing to the blade. In one quick second he changed tactic, and screamed loudly; his feminine parrot-fueled voice cutting through the air and startling all who heard it.

Yuuta's eardrums vibrated violently with Gariel's shriek. After regaining his composure he started rolling back and forth in a steady motion until he gained enough momentum to get himself out of the wagon. Unfortunately as soon as he fell out the gaurd grabbed him and put his sword to Yuuta's throat. Feras gave a sly smile before turning to Gariel "So, what will it be? leave now and never try and help your little friend here again or i have his throat cut!" Feras said tauntingly.
Yuuta was freaking out on the inside, though his face only showed of mild panic. He then looked at Gariel, and knowing that his life was in danger too he said "Just go, it isn't worth it." now Yuuta had accepted his fate and was rather glum about it, but he had gotten himself into this situation and he didn't feel like Gariel should risk his life just to get him out.

Gariel froze, staring at Feras with Yuuta in his clutches. So Yuuta had been in the wagon all along, but that didnt make this situation any better. The guard had been fought off, temporarily dazed by Gariels voice. He hated that Yuuta thought it 'wasnt worth it'. Of course it was, every life was worth the same, and Gariel never put himself above others. But how could he play this right?
If Gariel made a move, Yuuta would suffer, possible suffer the ultimate. If Gariel left, Yuuta would still suffer, and be sold as a slave, which in some cases could be worse than death. Gariel could...offer to become a slave with Yuuta. Atleast that would mean they'd be together, and could thus arrange a joint escape. Or...the other option was simple, but might be hard depending on how highly priced Yuuta would be. 'How much is he?' Gariel said, intending to buy Yuuta back, if he could. it would take a bit of saving though, probably.

"Oh, I bought him from those stupid gaurds for 1,500. But I would bet any noble would gladly pay at least 5,000 to have him run all the daily chores for a house!" Feras said smugly. Yuuta had a very useful +anima and was athletic to boot. Lots of lazy, pampered, nobles would pay just so that they could excuse themselves from doing some of the most mundane tasks. While businesses might buy him so he could carry around crates and heavy supplies and make it more conveniant for the employees.
Yuuta was just sulking there until he heard Gariel speak of buying him. Admittedly Yuuta would most likely have to wait several years from the sound of Feras's offer, but he had gotten himself into this mess and it was very genorous of Gariel to even think about using that money to get him back, when he could easily use it to free less expensive slaves.

Gariel thought for a moment. 5000 gillah was an awful lot to pay for Yuuta in terms of the going rate for slaves, but Gariel didnt really count that as anything. A human life was priceless, and in his view would be worth so much more. 5000gillah wasnt all that much when you compared it to infinite value; Yuuta would be worth every penny and more. He could probably save a few more people with that amount, but if he didnt help Yuuta, no-one would, and he'd already grown somewhat attached to the crocodile boy, making it impossible to walk out on him now.
There was, of course another option. 'How about I take Yuuta's place. Knowing what the nobles in Stella tend to prefer in terms of slaves, i have a feeling i'd sell for quite a bit more' He hoped Yuuta wouldnt take that as an insult, but Gariel was aware of his looks and decided to try and play that for all it was worth. Not only this, but with his wings, it would be alot easier to make an escape, rather than let Yuuta be taken, and then have to get both of them out of there. Feras sounded the greedy type, and would surely go for the option with the most money in it. 'How does that sound? I'll trade myself for this boy's freedom'

"Hmmmmm... an interesting offer." Feras said "Fine, If you come with us then we'll let the crocodile boy go." Feras's gaurd then pulled out a key to the shackles and undid them, while still holding the sword to his throat. "Put this shackle on so we know you won't escape." Feras continued, pulling out a shackle with a chain connecting to the wagon.
After Gariel had put the shackle on the gaurd removed his sword from it's position at Yuuta's neck and threw him to the ground. 'Crap, why is he doing this' Yuuta thought to himself, considering Gariels trade and thinking that he was being overly generous. As the wagon drove off Yuuta glared at it, knoing that he had no hopes of catching up. When the wagon dipped over the horizon Yuuta addressed his wounds, pulling out some bandages from his back pack and wrapping them tightly around his leg and shoulder. As soon as this was done the sun started it's daily journey into the sky, only casting ribbons of light over the land in this early time of day. Yuuta then set out, tracking the wagon in which Gariel had been carted away.

Gariel smiled, generally happy, but also slightly worried. Yuuta was free now, Gariels little mission had ended successfully in that respect, but now he himself was a slave. That wasnt so bad though; slaves were made to help others who needed help, and Gariel did that anyway. Providing he was treated well, perhaps this new life wouldnt be so bad. What really worried him was leaving Yuuta behind. He didnt want the boy trying something foolish on his own and getting into trouble again. This time Gariel wouldnt be able to help. Also, he didnt trust Feras to keep to his word; maybe Yuuta would be sought out and recaptured soon; Feras might get overly greedy and want the both of them.
Gariel laid his head back, leaning up against the inner wall of the wagon. Atleast now he could sleep; journeys on foot could take a while, and he wasnt in any hurry. His shackles were tight though, quite painful. It wouldnt be the most comfortable of sleeps.

After about a week the wagon arrived in the capital city, Stella. In the bustling market slaves were being sold and bought, The wagon made a stop at a rather expensive looking building. Feras and his gaurd got off of the wagon and unshackled Gariel while still keeping a hold on his arm, bringing him into the large home. This house was filled with fancy furniture and many ornate statues, obviously someone with a great fortune lived here. Just as a servant was walking buy Feras grabbed him by the shoulder. "Go fetch your master and tell him that Feras has some inventory." Feras told the boy sternly. After a few minutes a rather gaunt man with a small red nose and messy black hair walked in. His expensive shoes tapping against the floor and his fancy coat swaying with every step. "Ah, Feras, My old business partner." He said, shaking the slavers hand. "Hello, Erast (once again came up with on the spot) I believe I have someone I'd like you to meet." Feras said, showing Gariel. The rich buyer looked him over, studying him. "Yes he could be a very fine addition to this house." Erast said glancing over at Feras. "but he will cost around 5,000 to you." Feras said, whispering to Erast "Oh, my thats quite an amount. But fine, I'll take him." Erast said, addressing Feras "The money's upstairs, I'll go fetch it while you lot can make yourselves more comfortable." As Erast was walking away Feras grabbed his arm and spun him around. "There is one catch. He has this friend, a crocodile +anima. He's bound to be looking for him by now so you should probably have a few more gaurds around for a couple days." Feras said. "Well then I'll just have to take those precautions." Erast said
While all this was transpiring Yuuta was standing across the bustling street, watching the house. He was going to get Gariel out of their. If Gariel was willing to risk his freedom for Yuuta's then Yuuta was ready to risk his freedom for Gariel. Yuuta disappeared into the darkness of an alley, waiting for nightfall.

Gariel barely reacted in the whole time he was being pulled about by the adults. That week had been hardgoing; Feras had not been generous with food or with stops, and Gariel was still stiff and not himself. The other man, Erast, looked him up and down, and Gariel felt a tad violated, but was too weary to say anything.
Whilst the men talked and payment was exchanged, Gariel took the time to examine the large house. It was well decorated; Gariel had a good eye for colour, and many lovely schemes had been used. The furniture was obviously well looked-after, and very beautiful. The ceiling was high, too, something Gariel loved; being a bird, he hated enclosed spaces. He had to admit, it was a very impressive household. Still...that didnt necessarily mean the same would be reflected in the people who lived here. He could still be treated awfully, and so decided to reserve real judgement for now.
Sighing, he stretched his legs on the spot, and felt the guard tense beside him. Oh come on, as if, in this state, in this situation, he would attempt an escape. If one was needed, he'd do it when he was properly fed and watered, for starters.
