Taron actually laughed. 'You were the one so bent on coming here in the first place! If the flies are biting, get rid of your horse!' They werent really bothered about Taron, it was strange, but it meant that if she changed back, she'd be immune too, he hoped.
'And would you look at that, little nasty has left without so much as a thankyou' He crossed his arms, anoyed. Of course they'd done the right thing, and the pup had been eager to get into the trees, so it must be grateful in its little puppy mind. Still, it all seemed alot of effort, with no real reward for him and Clora. He pouted, and then decided the go in after the pup. Yeah, it was dangerous and frightening, but he doubted the little wolf had already had a fast and happy reunion with its parents.
'Do you think we should check on it?' he asked, looking back at Clora over his shoulder.

"Nah." Clora said simply. "He'll live or he'll die, not our problem anymore. I believe we left without breakfast, let's go before all the invisible guests at the inn eat all of the food!"
Clora obediently dismissed her horse-half and swatted at the flies for a while, until she was sure they weren't going to irritate her anymore. She looked at the forest for a minute. If curiosity killed the cat, Clora must of died a lot of times! Then again, satisfaction brought it back. "...Forest! Yaaaay!" she cheered summoning back her Anima as she ran into the darkness of the trees, with no faulty footwork surprisingly!

'Hey! Clora!!' Taron yelled, surprised by her sudden change of mind. She'd dissapeared completely into the trees, and he stood hesitantly on the edge of the little wood. His eyes werent the best, picking up no sign of movement within. Was she alright? He gulped, and advanced a few steps, peering into the gloom.
'C-Clora?' he stammered, realising he sounded like a stupid little frightened kid. Trying to control his voice and sound more confident, he tried again. 'Are you in there?'

Clora emerged from the forest. "Sorry! I got all excited and forgot about you!! Sooorrry!" Clora looked as if she were to burst into tears about the fact that she forgotten Taron for a few seconds. "You sounded scared, I'm so sooorrry! I'll even walk on human leg's so I can't run ahead too much in-case I forget again!" she paused. "Not that I will!!" To prove that she wouldn't forget, she began to hit her head multiple times with her palms.

You sounded scared..
Great.
'Uh..Clora...please stop' Taron cut in and held both of her arms steady, facing her. There were already read marks on her forehead, thankfully though she'd mostly hit areas that were covered with hair. Still, there was no need. 'Look, even if you forget me for a sec, i wont forget you, so i can call you, like if i need help or something, kay?' He stared into her eyes, making sure she got the message. Clora was so ditzy he couldnt tell if his words hit home, but decided to release her anyway.
'Dont worry about it' She looked really upset now, the complete opposite of how she'd been a few seconds before. He leaned against a tree, watching her. 'So...we going in or not?' Hopefully this time they'd enter together.

Clora nodded slowly and rubbed her arms. The words sinked in... Kind of. "...Sorry..." she murmured, just in-case Taron was angry at her. She didn't like it when people were angry at her, however she often tended to blank them out anyway. Taron, though, was different. He was a fellow +anima.
The trees creaked in the wind, the last leaves fluttering to the ground. Clora dashed over to the darkness, then stopped, waiting for Taron. "I won't forget!!" she giggled happily. "...And smile! Life's no rehearsal! I wonder if lil' nasty got creamed yet..." she hopped on a small rock and balenced for a few seconds, taking a glance into the darkness.

Taron made a faint cold laugh. Smile, huh. Well...Clora didnt seem to find it that difficult to stay happy, but to be honest, what was there to be happy about? There were outside in the cold, ages away from the town, or other people, hungry (having missed breakfast), and about to walk blindly into a scary wood after a stupid little pup that had probably already forgotten about them. God..now that he thought about it, what the hell was he doing here?
'Lets just get this over with so i can go back to my room and sleep...' he said, walking up beside her. Then, remembering her words, he forced a smile, though it looked a bit silly.

Clora looked at Taron's strange smile and stifled a laugh. "How about we leave smiling for now?" she said, smiling. "You wanna get it done and over with? So you can sleep!? Since when was sleeping fun? Ah well, your choice... Gotta get it done and over with."
Clora jumped behind a tree, then jumped back to Taron. "Was that fast enough for you?" she grinned, finding this little joke quite funny. Jumping in and out of trees... Oh how she laughed and she laughed... "Okay! Let's go!!"
Clora grew back her horse legs and flung Taron on her back, galloping as fast as she could. "I hope I didn't hurt you. That would be a bummer!" she exclaimed over the thundering hooves. Her normal talking soon became shouting. "Here wolfie wolfie wolfie!!! Lil' nasty, where are yooou!?" The only thing that could make this moment of life funnier (for Clora, that is) was a wolf attack. The excitement of being chased by a group of wolves was very high. Up in the sky, infact.
...Poor Taron.

((Zomg he's really being put through it HAHA))
Taron groaned at her little joke, not able to see why she was finding it so funny. 'Well you'll have to let me sleep at some point, i dont feel like i can stay awake from now until its dark' Maybe if he got lucky, Clora would let him take a nap in and afternoon or something. He might be able to find a sunny spot, or a warm rock face. Mm, sleeping in the sun, he liked that. This thought gave him something to look forward to anyway.
At that moment his thoughts were interupted as Clora grabbed Taron and flung him onto her back. Oh god, not again... He held on for dear life as she bounded through the trees. This was very bad....any moment she would trip and send him flying, and they'd be hurt and lost in the middle of a wood, full of wolves. 'Stop yelling!' he hissed, 'Do you want the others to hear you?' Then again...if any animals were listening, they'd probably already heard the thundering of hooves. Great.

(Heheh! Sometimes I think Clora is the worst to meet out of all my characters...)
Clora continued to gallop. "I don't trip over in forests! Don't worry!" Still, she slowed into a canter so Taron wouldn't panic even more. "Duuuumdumdadum." she hummed as she weaved (is that even a word?) in and out of the trees. "Lil' nasty could be around here... Can you loosen up a bit 'cause you're making my front legs numb..." Clora tried to say this as nicely as possible. It was true though, the feeling in her legs was slightly going, but it could of been caused by the cold is well. Clora stuck out her arms to help balancing, but her front legs gave way anyway.
"Hahahahahaaa! That was fun! Are you okay?"

Taron only clung on tighter as she fell forward, letting out an anoyed cry of panic. This was awful...he couldnt really take it much longer. After meeting Clora, he'd developed an irrational fear of riding horses, and would probably never go near one again.
'Thats it, the ride ends here!' He got off her back, landing on all fours, and just stared at the ground until the dizziness subsided. He wanted to just crawl into a hole somewhere, but that wouldnt help; he'd get too cold anyway. Taking deep breaths, he sat up on the forest floor. Now that the thundering of hooves had stopped, it was eerily quiet, and that, combined with the huge trees towering over him, only increased his panic further. Luckily (or not) he wasnt alone. Despite hating riding on her back, atleast that way he'd be able to make a quick escape, if needbe.
'Clora...cant we just rest for a moment?' He walked over to the base of a trunk, and sat down with his back against it, closing his eyes for a bit.

Clora nodded at Taron. "Yep!"
The boy who bled from his eyes (although he hadn't for a while) still piqued Clora's non-stop curiousity. He said things like 'Do you think we should check on it' even though he probably didn't want to check on it anyway. Infact, Clora can recall him saying 'Let's just get this over with', but how could she forget? She made a hilarious joke about it! Clora began thinking about Taron's 'strange' behavior, but ended up thinking about deer and stuff that smells like burning.
She looked over at Taron and narrowed her eyes, so she was now sneering at him. Her strange behavior ended when she scrambled up onto one of the branches of the tree Taron was leaning on. When she found a branch sturdy enough to support her, Clora slouched lazily, her hair flopped over her face. She began thinking why her hair smelt of smoke. She hadn't washed it in a long time, and she saw a bonfire a few days ago. That explained it.
"Taaron! Have we rested enough yeet? Can we go baack?"

Finally it was quiet. Blissfully peaceful. Clora had granted Taron a short break, and he was grateful for her patience. He was about to slip into the deeper layers of sleep, when he heard her voice again. It seemed like a while since she'd last spoken.
'Mmm...' he replied weakly. Despite letting him rest, Clora obviously hated waiting, and he guessed she'd probably just keep nagging if he didnt move. Pulling himself back into conciousness, Taron clumsily got to his feet, swaying slightly, and looked around. Clora was nowhere to be seen. That wasnt right...he'd just heard her voice..she had to be close..'Where'd you go?' he mumbled weakly, and then caught sight of her up in a tree.
'What you doing up there?' he questioned, moving back to the base of the trunk. No way he could follow her up their. Taron wasnt a climber, but it seemed Clora had managed it easily. She wanted to go back? But what about the pup? He hated it here, but they shouldnt turn back if all they'd done was run through some trees. The whole thing seemed pointless now. 'You wanna go back??'

Clora nodded at Taron, the way children do when they want to go back home from the park. She liked having adventures, exploring the unknown and sneeking around hoping that the big furry things won't see her but this adventure was cold. She reminded herself that that's why she came to Abon, not to see if a wolf pup had made his way back home. "I think we have a problem though," she murmured innocently, "I can't remember the way out the forest."
Clora clumisly slid down the trunk of the tree and grinned. "This is gonna be fun! An adventure! Maybe if some wolves came, it'll be even funner! OOOOOOOOOWWW-OOOOOOOOOOOWW!" Clora cupped her hands and began howling again. Some wolves called back, their howls echoing around the quiet forest.

'Of course...' of course. OF COURSE Clora would forget the way out of the forest. Taron was a fool for letting her take him this far in the first place. This was what he deserved.
Fun, huh? Taron was about to cut back with a sarcastic remark when Clora mentioned wolves, and suddenly started howling loudly, the sounds echoing around everywhere. Then, he heard an answering call, and shivered in fear.
'Clora!!!' he hissed, a drop of blood escaping one eye. Good, if it would make him look scary, maybe he could intimidate her enough so that she would shut up. 'Do you want them to come and hunt us down??' Taron hated this forest. He kicked a stump, anoyed. He hated wolves, hated the cold, he even hated Clora for making things more difficult. Of all the strangers he could have ended up with, it had to be her...But then...she'd done more for him than anyone else had. Taron sighed, and started walking forward in a random direction.
